My experience learning English

My experience learning English in university… to be complete honest in the beginning (English 2) my experience was very boring, because they tried to teach me things that I already know very basic things, but in English 3 it’s still almost the same but I like the blogs activities that they do,     in English 4 I still doing blogs but this time a lot more borings than in English 3, maybe it’s because this time the topics are a lot more serious like your future, these topics are obviously important but talking about such an important topic in a language that I barely manage with limited time is so boring to me.

My written English it’s not the major problem (it’s not perfect by any means but I’m OK), my problem is the pronunciation, that is why I really like the final activity of English 3 that activity was about talking with another person, I like this because that make me practice my pronunciation, I also like the video talks in English 4 for the exact same reason, maybe I should take some of my time for practice my pronunciation but I have so much things to do so I don’t do that too much like I would like to do.

 Outside the university I use my written English constantly because I visit some pages in reedit (that it’s mostly an English app, there are so little Spanish communities) and that it’s with my written English is better than my pronunciation, I don’t really use my English for nothing more…….   

My career in some years

In a some years I think that in my career and college will have some changes, one obviously is in the curriculum because with the time new things about chemistry is discover so the curriculum is going to have some changes also the English classes are going to have more relevance in this program because the world become every time more connected so English is going to be more fundamental for almost every work, so the college is going to give English more importance than the one that it currently have, the infrastructure especially the laboratory with better material and more machines that do the work for us making us totally useless, and all of that because the advance in the technology, also more space (I really hope). The technology also is going to have an impact in the teaching methods with more technology is easier teaching, even more in a career like chemistry and pharmacy with the different reactions and particles that are teaching in this career, the technology can represent those processes better so the students can understand all of those things easier, maybe some classes can be done in the commodity of your home because the technology. I really hope that the totally unnecessary “CFG” will be not necessary at all to finish your career in this college. Maybe the length of studies is going to be affected because the advance of technology and teaching methods so maybe the career can be reduced with a semester less (something is something).

opinions

My opinion in the violence in television…. I approve, in the end of the day it’s just fiction and in the top of that, the programs with extreme violence are classified for adult people, people with a criterion formed and the capacy for disting reality of fiction, if a kid see these programs it is just the father’s fault 

  

 I don’t care too much if you buy or adopt pets the important thing is give the pet a home to live (pets shop are not a good place neither) but maybe would be better adopt one because obviously the conditions are worse

I agree with abortion in the 3 cases and I also agree with abortion in all the cases I thinks that a baby don’t should come to the world if it is not wanted, and that decision should be only of the mother, obviously before the 2 months tho…

I’m a little complicated the possession of exotic pets at home, part of me always wanted to have a exotic pet (a snake to be specific) but the other part thinks that these animals should be never out of their natural habitat, so….. I think that I not agree.

I agree with the legalizing of marijuana because if beer and cigarettes are legal I don’t see why marijuana a drug that is less harmful is not but to be fair maybe my opinion it’s just because I tried it idk

From cartoons, animes to TV series

So I like a lot of series, cartoon, anime but there is no one that I like the most, I don’t have a favorite so if I have to talk about one I’m going to talk about one of the last ones that I watched and this one is Game of thrones (yeah predictable) this serie still in emission and start some years ago but I begging watching not so much months ago, I’m not really a fan I just watched sometimes because  I don’t  really use too much of my time watching series, this serie is about the fight for the iron throne and all the problems that involve that and take place in a fantastic medieval world, talking about cartoons I like family guy and the Simpsons, both are really similar the series are about the adventures of a family, the difference is that family guy have a humor a little bit more acid, these series are a good way to relaxing after a stressful day, the rest of my family don’t watched these serie and I really don’t watch a serie with my family, we have different taste so we see different series.

I don’t remember read comics or mangas in my whole life, sometimes I thinks about that but I never read one so I can’t talk about that, TV series, cartoons, animes, comics/mangas can be a good conversation topic to talk with your friends if they have a similar taste in these, they are a good conversation topic to talk but not a good English blog topic to write about (but that maybe is just me).      

post graduate studies

Honestly I don’t have a clear idea if I want to still studying after graduate, I begin to study about 1 and a half years ago and even to I like my career I don’t have a clear future right now but even tho there are a few options that called my attention, maybe I will like a Ph.D in pharmacology because obviously I am really interesting  in the pharmacology world that is why I study chemistry and pharmacy, I am interested in the subjects that are in pharmacology like advanced  molecular pharmacology, experimentation in pharmacology, investigation unity, clinic pharmacology,  etc….. maybe I also would like to do a magister in pharmaceutical sciences for the same reasons, I like the subjects.

I would like to do the Ph.D maybe out of Chile but probably I am going to do it in Chile anyway, I don’t think that I would be able to study without work for so many time so I am going to work part time, this is going to be very exhausting but it is what I need to do, my career last 5 and a half years (maybe more years if I fail in some subjects) and the Ph.D in pharmacology last 3 years so I can’t be 8 and a half years or more without work.  

my future work

So because I study chemistry and pharmacy obviously my future job have to do with chemistry, I’m going to be complete honest, I have no idea what I want my “dream job” to be, I just know that this job is going to be related with chemistry because chemistry is what I like, In my career there are so many options to work after, I imagine so many works to do related to chemistry and I really like so many I don’t have preferences so far, it’s so early in my career to say one I don’t have the knowledge really of all the options that I have, I don’t know if my work is going to be outdoors or indoors (probably indoors, it’s chemistry) I don’t think that I going to travel because of my work but I going to travel because the money of my work, the salary obviously I expected and want it to be good because if someone say that he expect his salary to be regular he is lying, when I finish my career I don’t know if I want to still studying to specialize in something about chemistry, but I like chemistry and so far I really like what I’m studying so I think that I’m in the right way so the time it’s going to tell me what I want to be my job.

micro impurities

So I study chemistry and pharmacy and my election is going to be based in something that I actually know, I am going to talk about a technique use in a class in my career relate with micro impurities, this technique is called recrystallization that is use in the class of organic laboratory, this technique is use for purified a compound, the technique disjoin the compound of its micro impurities, the way in what this technique do that is using the different solubility point of the compound and its impurities, there is chosen a solvent that have a high temperature point to solubilize the compound and a low temperature point to solubilize the micro impurities, so the compound can be disjoin of its micro impurities with filtration, the technique of the recrystallization is important in my career because is important the purified of the compounds in chemistry, I learn about this recently in the class of organic laboratory this is a technique that I going to use a lot in that class, the advantages of this technique is that is very easy of use and very cheap (that is why this technique have a good future) but the disadvantages are that if you use a little more solvent that what you need you can lost a lot of compound.
